Excel Export

Excel export allows you to export your own data from TailScribe to use however you want.

Prerequisites

This assumes that you have created a pet, added a note or added a video note, and that you also have an active TailScribe premium subscription.

Overview

Note Export

To export notes you need to navigate to your pet's notes page.

Right above the notes table you will see a download icon. If you click it, it will put all of your pet's notes into an excel spreadsheet and download it to your machine.

The format mirrors the notes table. You have the date, note text, and any associated tags per row.

Video Note Export

To export video notes you need to navigate to your pet's video notes page.

In a similar position, you'll see the download icon for your pet's video notes. If you click it it will collect all of the data for all of your video notes and compile it into a single spreadsheet.

The format is set in such a way to make it clear what data belongs to which video. From here you can do additional parsing or analysis for whatever insights you wish to achieve from the raw data.
